Betty began regularly assisting at contests in the 1970’s. She continued to assist at regional, State, and local powerlifting contests for 30 years. Betty assisted with scoring, expediting, card and score sheet management, registration, weigh-in, and set up and tear down.  Betty was also an NPC judge and judged bodybuilding competitions for many years.  As with many contributors, Betty was at the competition site assisting before the start and well after the contest was over. No contributors, no contests.

 

Betty had a full-time career and still found time to help promote powerlifting and bodybuilding for many years. While not a competitive lifter, Betty used the power lifts and bodybuilding as part of her personal fitness program.
