A brief personal history:
Coach of the USA Weightlifting National Champion team Catalyst Athletics, author of the books Olympic Weightlifting: A Complete Guide for Athletes & Coaches and Olympic Weightlifting for Sports, and director/writer/producer/editor of the documentary American Weightlifting.

What led you to your sport:
Strength and power training was always more interesting to me than the actual sports I participated in, so the sport of weightlifting was a natural fit.                                             

Achievements in your sport:
Coached USA Weightlifting national championship team • Coached multiple national champions in multiple countries • Coached national record holders in multiple countries • Coached Pan Am and European Championships competitors and medalists from multiple countries • Coached World Championships competitors from multiple countries • 2021 Danish Coach of the Year—the first non-Danish coach to be awarded—for coaching Line Gude, the first Danish woman in history to medal in senior international competition.

Masters American record holder in the clean & jerk.

Other accomplishments. 

Author of the world's best-selling Olympic weightlifting book • Released the first feature-length documentary film on the sport of weightlifting in the US, American Weightlifting.                                                                                                                                                                          

Activities within the sport:
15 years of providing the freest educational weightlifting content in the world: Over 300 videos, over 500 articles, and an exercise library with over 350 exercises.
