A brief personal history:
I began powerlifting while in the US Air Force and had my first meet at Clark Air Base in the Phillipines in 1981. My first competition lifts were 336 lb squat, 275 lb bench and 415 lbs deadlift at 162 lbs!


My best lifts were 710 squat, 400 lb bench & 761 lb deadlift @ 194 lbs…Drug Free!
I hold world records in the Open, Submasters, Over 40, Over 50 and Over 60 age groups. My latest being 705 lb deadlift @ 63 years old and 194 lbs!
At 65 years of age I am still competing at a high level.
I currently compete with the World Natural Powerlifting Federation based out of Fayetteville, GA.
I am also know as “The World’s Strongest Grand Daddy”!😎👍🏾✌🏾🙏🏾👏🏾

What lead you to your sport:
I was 129 lbs and 5’10 tall!!

*President of the Python Power League
*Ten years after a serious back injury (broken bone & 4 screws in my back) I came back at the age of 51 to break my old record with. 761 lb deadlift @ 184 lbs!
*Powerlifting Coach foe over 35 years

* Meet director for the WNPF, Python Power League and the APA
* Introduced and conducted the first powerlifting event at the Georgia Olympic Games
*Coached hundreds of powerlifters
*Conducted seminars for various high schools, colleges and groups
*Competed in the USA, Japan, Bahamas, Kuwait and Korea
*Inducted into the WNPF Hall of Fame
