Personal history:
I was born in cuba in 1966 in small town called Sagua la Grande. I stared the sport of weightlifting in 1982. in 1984 I joined the Cuban Junior team were I had great results. 1986 I graduate at the technical level as a physical education teacher. later in 1986 I joined the senior cuban team but I still was a junior athlete. During this time there I had a great results as well. later in 1992 I gradated at the University level in sport performance with an specialization in weightlifting. In addition in 1993 I decide to immigrate to the best country in the planet USA. Here I was able to validated my mayor degree at FIU and also are having great results as a weightlifting coach and Mater athlete.

What lead you to your sport:
What inspire me to this beautiful spot of weightlifting was when I saw Daniel Nunes competing at the 1980 Olympics.

Achievements in your sport:
AS a junior Athlete in Cuba I was a National champion three times.1982, 1984,and 1986. I also represent Cuba in many international events. 1984 World Junior Championship bronze Medalist. 1985 I represent cuba at Copa Varna in Bulgaria 4 places in total. Also 1985 I Participated at the junior Copa Kalikristal in Germany finishing in Second place. Later this years I Participated at the Junior world championship finishing in 3 places. Later in 1986 I was a Cuban junior national champion. Same year I participated in Copa Camilo Ortega in Nicaragua having three gold medals. Later on same year I represent Cuba in the Junior world championship finishing in 4 places. As a senior Athlete I have a short life in cuba since in 1993 I decide to emigrate to USA. However I was Cuban National silver medalist as a senior athlete. then leaving in USA I discover there was a master athletes movement and in 2015 I competed in my first event the World Cup in Dallas Texas with 45 years of age. I won this event and stablished nationals, Pan American and world records. I have been national champion several times, 4 times panamerican champion , Also I am holding National, Pan American and world records in thre different weight categories.

Tell us about your State, National and World records. ( Using bullet form)
I am holding all state, National, Pan American and World records as a M45-49 69 KG 105 snatch, 125 clean and jerk and 230 total. Also I am holding State, national, Pan American and world records as M50-54 67 kgs 102kgs Snatch, 115 kgs clean and jerk and 217kgs total. recently in Orlando fl at the Pan-American Championship as a M55-59 61 kgs I established state ,Nationals, Pan American and wolds records with 93kgs snatch, 117 kgs clean and jerk and 208kgs clean and jerk. 

Other accomplishments.
As a coach an Team Muscle Farm Weightlifting team director and owner at Crossfit Fort Lauderdale since 2012 I have been helping many athletes who's have been national medalist and I also includes athletes in the USA team to represent USA at the University world championship like Joseph Garcia 56kgs. Also, I Have been training beginner coaches to improve their coaching knowledges at the high level of performance. Since 2012 I am helping the beautiful community of Fort Lauderdale Fl with their health and fitness. To Mention something else I also was part of the Dade county Physical Education department. I was also selected Teacher of the year in 2011.

Other activities
Like I mention before since 2001 I was a Physical Education teaches for Dade county public Schools for 15 years. I helps thousand of African American Children with their health and fitness. in 2011 I was selected teacher of the year.
Then after that since 2012 as owner and head coach of Crossfit Fort Lauderdale and head coach of Team muscle Farm weightlifting I have been helping the beautiful community of Fort Lauderdale, FL with their health and Fitness. In addition and through out Courses and clinic in my facility I have been helping other coaches and athletes to develop their knowledges within the sport. Also, we engage our athletes in many local competitions and teach them the weightlifting sport rules as much as we can for them to have a better understanding and love for the sport.
