Personal history:
In 1984 I started Olympic weightlifting in Honduras. In 1990 I became a central American champion. I competed in the summer Olympics 1992 in Barcelona where I represent in Honduras. I moved to United States in 1993 competed in New York And became the New York state champion. In 2001 I competed in the senior nationals and I came in third place. From 2002 to present I have completed as a Master Weightlifter. I was in the inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame in 2014. As is today I have 16 nationals Gold Medals, 9 Pan-American Gold Medals and 3 World championship.. 

What lead you to your sport:
I saw the strength that Olympic lifting produced and I wanted to be a part of that sport. I was doing bodybuilding at the time when  Olympic weightlifting coach saw me at the gym and asked if I wanted to switch over to Olympic lifting.

Accomplishments.
I have my Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Masters in Business Administration. I am Married with 1 daughter and 2 Stepsons. 1 Grandson. 

Activities within your sport
I am USA National Coach. I own and am the Head Coach at Nashville Weightlifting Club. We have three or four local competitions a year. We have 4-5 clinics a year in Snatch and C&J.
