Robert Gains Virginia Strength and Power HoF inductee 2021

By Strength and Power Hall of Fame

A brief personal history:
I have always stride to be the best at everything I do- from high school athletics, collegiate level D2 football, U.S. Army Track and Field (shot put/discus), and finally Powerlifting. However, being considered for the Powerlifting Hall of Fame, it is more than I could fathom. Everyday is a new beginning so that you can achieve new goals and memories with family and friends, and when you achieve those goals and memories it leaves you motivated to strive for more. No words can express the honor of being considered for this prestigious distinction. I hope the works I’ve done, speak for me.

What lead you to your sport:
I started participating in sporting activities as a way to test my unfounded abilities and as a tool for setting goals to achieve. Played football at the high school (Menchville High School) , collegiate (Norfolk State university), and international level (Nurnberg Rams, Germany). I participated in track in field (Shot Put / discus), at the Junior High school, High school, collegiate, and on the Army's track and field Team.
