BIO

Susan began regularly assisting at contests in 1981. She continued to assist at Regional, State and local contests until 2015.  Susan assisted with scoring, expediting, card and score sheet management, registration, weigh in and set up and tear down. Susan would bring homemade snacks to contests for the lifters which contributed to the socialization and appreciation of being part of the weightlifting family. As with many contributors Susan was at the contest prior to the start and after the contest was over.

 

Susan had a full time career in education and still found time to help promote weightlifting many years. While not a competitive lifter Susan used the Olympic lifts as part of her personal fitness program.
