Glen Shelton Virginia Strength and Power HoF inductee 2019

Glen Shelton Biography

By Strength and Power Hall of Fame

Glen is the Virginia State Strength and Power Hall of Fame appointed historian. His impressive collection of results dates back to 1939 which was the beginning of Olympic Weightlifting in the State of Virginia. Glens collection also includes photo’s, obits and a host of information on numerous lifters and their contributions to our sport. I (Rick Bucinell) have had an opportunity to sit with Glen on occasion and be thoroughly amazed at Glen's dedication to preserving the history of Olympic Weightlifting. Glen continues to this day to add to his collection.
